Pickle lines are used to remove mill scale from the surface of hot-rolled steels. Cauffiel Technologies can supply a variety of pickle lines. The most common type of pickle line supplied is a push-pull, HCL (hydrochloric) acid type line. The equipment is manufactured to meet the most demanding U.S. EPA requirements. Cauffiel Technologies also has experience in obtaining all the necessary permits as required by U.S. national and local government agencies. Cauffiel Technologies has also supplied custom batch pickling operations utilizing sulfuric acid solutions.
